dap...sunt super
have some news...
Unlike most pop-punk acts, Bowling for Soup keeps angst out of their music for the most part.
The group will headline Wednesday's show at Flannigan's with Shreveport band Built for Speed.
Fans have taken hold of the Bowling for Soup's fun-filled lyrics and so have the critics.
Formed in 1994, the Texas-based band took the spotlight after the 2002 release of "Girl All the Bad Guys Want" from the album "Drunk Enough to Dance" earned the group a Grammy nomination for "Best Pop Performance by a Group or Duo."
Although the group did not take home the award, they've continued to make music fans love, including the 2004 hit "1985."
The band released a new album, "The Great Burrito Extortion Case," on Nov. 7 with the first single "High School Never Ends." |
